4.4 Archiving Records

4.4.1     Arrangements shall be put in place within each market surveillance authority to ensure that all physical files, laboratory certificates, enforcement notices, and digital metadata relating to their market surveillance activities are retained and securely archived for a minimum period of 10 years from the date the targeted construction product batch was last placed or made available on the market, in alignment with the liability and documentation retention obligations imposed on economic operators under CPR 2011 and CPR 2024.
